MSM Mixtape Week: OTR Jam Band Night
8/13/26

The MSM man himself, Russell Mefford, said: On Day 6 of Muscle Shoals Meets the 90s, we jam. And, the Shoals gladly made it so. Indeed, the jam was good last night, friends.
Clint Bailey and friends turned Florence’s On The Rocks (OTR) into a three-hour (indoor) MSM version of the most glorious mini jam band festival you've witnessed since the 90s. The music was good, the food was good, the friends were good -- good times all the way around. No, GREAT times happening during this inaugural MSM Mixtape Week.
Clint and the boys did not disappoint last night, fam. My hungry WSP fangirl heart was fed. Yum. For me, the best part of last night, though, was the reminiscing. Well, let me say that again: the best part of the night was reminiscing to the tune of some pretty iconic jamming as the soundtrack.
I think my favorite story from last night was hearing how Russell and Clint met pretty much two decades ago. It's cool how Clint became a Worm and fortified a somewhat legendary bond between Shoals and Huntsville musicians. So very cool.
Speaking of our MSM Huntsville family, boy how Clint, Ben Davis, Ryan Tillery, Ryan Wall, and the one and only Rob Aldridge put on a great party last night, friends. What a tight band of brothers, y'all. Their musical bond is obviously so very strong and it's one that's fueled by shared joy.
All tips went to the cause and OTR supported the cause via sales, too. Y'all. Thanks to MSM, building special needs playgrounds to the tune of great music is what we do in the Shoals.
See y'all tonight at the Ritz.
Dig Worms.
